Vista Real Estate
Vista is about 7 miles inland, and boasts the finest climate on the planet,
with more days that are 72 degrees than anywhere else. It's out of the fog
that sometimes blankets the coast, and it does not have the heat of cities
further inland.
The southern part of Vista is known as Shadowridge , sometimes called
the "Jewel of North County". If you don't want to see anything old or
run-down as you drive from your home to schools and shopping, this is
the place for you. Homes are priced from the high $300,000s.
The northern area of Vista is a rural area known as Buena Creek. Here
you'll find the least expensive rural land this close to the ocean in
all of Southern California. It's really quite remarkable, some homes
even have ocean views. This same sort of rural environment exists only
in Olivenhain and the east part of Poway, both areas that are vastly
more expensive. Homes here range from $500,000 and up.
Vista was rated "One of the 50 Fabulous Places to Raise Your Family" in 1997.
The city boasts affordable housing costs, almost perfect climate, scenic
beauty, and an abundance of community services and programs. The grass really
is greener in Vista!
